Sponsorship Opportunities at the EWHS Music Winter Benefit Concert

Would you like to partner with the Edmonds-Woodway High School (EWHS) Music Boosters to support fundraising efforts for music students in a highly visible venue?
We are looking for a few key event sponsors to support our Winter Benefit Concert at the Edmonds Center for the Performing Arts. This event will showcase the work of all ensembles from the award-winning EWHS Music Program, with vocal, orchestral and jazz music. Musical pieces will be specifically curated for this evening.
The date of the concert, November 28, 2023, coincides with the broader, annual “Giving Tuesday” movement. This will set the tone for our fall funding campaign starting before Thanksgiving and concluding with an opportunity for concertgoers to contribute electronically to our music program at the event. Your sponsorship of the venue costs will allow 100% of the proceeds at this fundraising concert to directly support programs funded by the EWHS Music Boosters to further Music Education.
The key areas of support for the 2023-2024 school year are:
- Professional Sectional coaching to provide additional instruction to small group ensembles
- Trip subsidies and cost defrayment to ensure the EWHS Music Program is accessible for all
- Scholarships for students bound for further study in music
Continued budget cuts within the Edmonds School District threaten the stability of our music ensembles. Some classes have been combined or cut, creating a greater need for funding the gap to ensure students are receiving the robust training that our program is known for.
Research has repeatedly demonstrated that the study and performance of music provide direction and purpose for students, offering a sense of belonging in a supportive, inclusive community. There is also a wealth of evidence that academic outcomes, student retention, and graduation rates are greatly improved by quality music education
