As we say goodbye to the lazy days of summer we look forward to a school year packed with exciting new opportunities for our music students. We have a great group of volunteers at the Music Boosters and would love to meet you in person. Take a look at some of the 2023 events highlighted below.

Welcome Back to School BBQ and Orientation for Freshman Families
8/29 at 5:00-7:00pm, EWHS Courtyard and the Music Department
Meet other freshman music families and students, tour the music rooms, and see our Jazz Colony summer camp in action. Families of older music students are also welcome.
Music Boosters Ice Cream Social plus Meet the Teachers
9/14 7:00-8:30pm, EWHS Orchestra Room, Room No A111 (ice cream will be outside)
Please join us to hear all about activities the Music Boosters will be involved in to support our music program. There will be time to talk with the teachers, tour the music department, meet other parents, and find out more about ways to get involved in our school music community.
Mattress Fundraiser
10/15 10:00am-5:00pm in EWHS Great Hall
Top quality, brand name mattresses sold at great prices! Encourage your friends, neighbors, family and co-workers to support our Mattress Fundraiser. We raised over $7k for the Music Department last year and we are aiming to raise $10k or more this year.
All School Barn Dance (Music Boosters/Orchestra Fundraiser)
11/4 7:00-9:00pm, EWHS Great Hall
This will be an evening of pure fun with a line dance caller, fiddle & banjo band, and student performances. Sausage Sizzle, cider, games and dances for all skill levels and ages
SAVE THE DATE!! Our First Annual EWHS Winter Benefit Concert
Tuesday 11/28 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts
This year we are presenting our first ever Winter Benefit Concert, which will take place at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on Tuesday 11/28. This will give all our talented music students an opportunity to perform on a professional stage, while attracting a wider audience to enjoy our music and learn about our programs. This benefit concert will be open to members of the public, as well as all music program families. More information to follow in the coming days.
