Congratulations to Junior Max Fenwick (Wind Symphony and Jazz 1), who earned the title Midwest Amateur Grade 2 Snare Drumming Champion at the Winter Storm Pipes and Drums Event in Kansas City Missouri, on January 15th-18th. This is Max’s second year competing in this event and he placed 5th in 2025. Read more about Max HERE and HERE

Romeo’s Jazz Night 1/28/26

Members of EWHS Jazz bands and community members jam together at Romeo’s Jazz Night. This is a monthly event at Romeo’s in Edmonds. Jazz Night takes place each month; usually the third or fourth Wednesday. Please reference the calendar for exact date, and join us for great music, food and drinks.

The EWHS Jazz I Ensemble has been selected to play in Starbucks Annual Hot Java, Cool Jazz concert at The Paramount Theatre on Friday, March 27th at 7:00 pm! Click the button below for more information and ticket sales

Another upcoming event you do not want to miss is The 50th Annual DeMiero Jazz Fest Thursday, March 12th, 2026. The EWHS Choirs will be participating as well as EW Band Director, Jake Bergevin and the Jazz Punishments along with the New York Voices. Don’t sleep on this lively showcase of musical talent.

MUSICIAN OF THE MONTH

Anna Stewart plays the upright bass in Orchestra.

The talented Senior has been playing the upright bass for four years at EWHS. Anna’s favorite song to play is Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4. The annual music event that she looks forward to most each year, is Masterworks! You can see Anna play next at the Orchestra Quad concert on Wednesday, February 11th.
