There are many exciting opportunities for music students to develop their skills over the summer. Camps and workshops are offered at every price point, and many organizations offer scholarships. As we find out about various programs, we will post them here as a resource for families.
Musicians are also invited to jam at Romeo’s in Lynnwood once a month throughout the year, including summer. See the EWHS Music Calendar for dates.
EDMONDS-WOODWAY JAZZ COLONY
Tuesday nights, June-August, 6-8pm | EWHS Band Room
Cost: $200 for 10 sessions plus performances

We provide student access to the region’s strongest performers and educators, and create empowering musical experiences for students at our camps. Our full time faculty this year includes Katyrose Jordan, Dr. Evan Smith, Alexis Rosenberg and Neil Welch, plus six guest artists! Our programming has a little something for everyone, including jazz, pop, classical, brass band, and an emphasis on strengthening saxophone-specific technique with one-to-one mentorship.
